This ensures that the calliper will be able to withstand immersion in water and the accidental splashes and exposure to various workshop interferences.

Thin blade type jaws that are able to fit into very small grooves making previously difficult outside measurements far easier to obtain.

This calliper has been tested for dust/water protection conforming to IP67 level. It can be used in workshop conditions exposed to coolant, water, dust or oil.
IP67 refers to the protection level at which the calliper has been tested. Level 6 means that it is guaranteed dust-tight and no ingress of dust. Level 7 means it is protected against the effects of temporary immersion in water, ingress of water in quantities causing harmful effects shall not be possible when the enclosure is temporarily immersed 1 meter in water under standardized conditions of pressure and time.
